It all depends on which direction you are standing in. lol. What a trick question. Face north and you got west on your left. lol

If your facing North, its your right hand, if your facing south, then your left hand!!! It's as simple as that. Or yes you could figure it out with the sun, and that it rises in east and sets in the west, or just use a compass!!! ;p

If you're facing North, your left hand side is west, your right hand side is east.
Opposite if you're facing south.
If you don't know which way you're facing...you're lost :)
