I think I got it from an online penalty kick game...but I didn't get a letter or e-mail to accompany it, so I can't be sure.

Let me guess... it's free, but you pay P&P (or some other charge), right? And the P&P unusually high... say the cost of a 360 faceplate plus P&P anywhere else?
Smells of scam. You won the chance to pay them money, just like a few million other people.
Edit: Your update seems to suggest you got it in the post, rather than a "winning notification" message. So, who knows. I'll leave my original answer, partially as I prefer to do that with edits, and partially to clue in anyone who does get a scamvertised prize.
