Just stop using it. But I would keep it, just for registering products and such. That way, you don't end up with so much SPAM in other account.

go to your account setting and there should be an option around there somewhere to "contact us" you email them and tell them you want to cancel your account and they'll send you an e-mail letting you do so. I did the same thing and it worked for me.

your account will automatically deactivated if youre not accessing it for 3months...

U cant delete ur yahoo answers, yahoo messenger, yahoo 360 or any other yahoo service account individually. If u wish to delete ur account, u shall hv to delete ur full yahoo account.

Or Go to https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
and click on terminate account.
