There is no cutoff age for getting your period. Most girls start their periods when they reach about 110 pounds, or around that. I went to high school with a girl who was 17 and still hadn't started. She started her senior year. So, it just depends on the person. It will happen!

There is no cut off age. Every girl develops at a different rate. I don't believe that about smaller girls either, because I started my period at 11 and my friend didn't start hers until 2 years later. She was much larger than me. If you have started developing breasts and getting pubic hair, your time will come soon. Be patient. Enjoy your time without the mess of periods.

Don't sweat it. I didn't get my first period till I was in 8th or 9th grade (and it didn't come regularly till I was maybe 16), and I'm 5'2". It's really variable, sometimes women are 15 or 16 before it comes. I think the doctors start to get worried if it hasn't happened by the age of 17, so chances are you are absolutely normal.

Body fat, hormones, heredity, activity level & more will affect your periods. Find out at what age your Mom & Grandma started, that can help give you an idea of when you might start. If you're into sports, your periods may not start, or can stop suddenly. If you're really concerned, go see your doc or talk to a nurse about it. You probably have nothing to worry about. Every woman starts at a different age...I had a good friend who started at 11 and one who didn't start til she was almost 18! Try not to worry!!!!!

The cut off age is 18. Don't worry. I got my period when I was a freshman in high school. Ask your mother when she got her period. That will be a good indication when you will get your period. you have to be at least 150 pounds before you get your period.

There is no "cuttoff age." Different girls mature differently. You're ok. Just enjoy your freedom while you still have it.

It's different for every girl. I got mine when I was 11 but my sis didn't get hers until she was 15. Just be patient.
also--the weight thing isn't always true. There was a girl who weighed 150 lbs when she was in 8th grade and still didn't get hers. Like I said, It's different for everyone.

Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you. Girls start their periods at different ages. Some don't start till 17.
Relax, it will come.
The poster before me is wrong about 150 pounds. If that were true, none of us would start. LOL
I weighed 95 pounds when I started mine.
