Jam your head in the door, apply pressure to door, your body will naturally shimmy without any voluntary input from you.
For a more 'aggresive shimmy get a friend (preferably a heavy one)to lean against the door thus applying more pressure to your head.
Hope this helps

Isolation.
Fix your eyes straight ahead at a certain point then in your mind separate your head from your body. Start by shimmying your shoulders then concentrate on shaking your bum the two will happen together. You head will always move slightly you can't escape that.

I don't think you shimmy both at the same time.
Shimmy is with your "bum muscles". Bend your knees just a little, squeeze in and rotate your hips. If you relax your muscles will do it for you. you, like pressing on a nerve.
I never heard of shimmy shoulders although it sounds interesting. Shimmy is something like a big twitch!

I'm a dance teacher, and this is how I teach my young students to learn to shimmy their shoulders: Turn your head to the side, and pick a spot on the wall, DO NOT take your eyes off that spot! Next, try ROLLING your shoulders in a circle very slowly, then gradually get faster and as you do, tense your upper stomache muscles and just have at it!

To shimmy your chest from forward to back, you first have to learn to do it slowly to figure out what muscles you are using. It is mostly done by relaxing and contracting your back muscles.
To shimmy your butt you need to relax your butt muscles and create the movements through your knees by bending and straightening them in the opposite pattern.
I've never seen chest and butt shimmy done at the same time.

When you shimmy your hips your shoulders should not move and when you shimmy your shoulder, your hips should not move. When doing shoulders keep them pushed back otherwise it will just look as it you are shaking your cleavage. :)

try keeping your neck up straight and looking forward so then its tense and cant really move unless you force it so give it a shot if that doesn't work i guess your head is just suppose to move with your shoulders and butt it natural
