Unfortunately you did not mention if you fell unto you hand. Any type of trauma could have caused a fracture and then yes you could have broken your hand.
However, you also mentioned that the hand is red and puffy. There might be a possibility that you could have a cellulitis [infection] of your hand. You have to remember you touch everything with your hands and could have had a minor cut or break in skin -- if that occurred you could have infected the cut. Also if you get your nails done at a salon they're not that sanititary despite laws -- If you have a cat in the house and sustained a cat scratch or bite which could also cause an infective process.
It's friday -- go to an emergency room --- don't wait until the weekend is over.

Can you move it? If you can, its probably not broke but it could be fractured or sprained. I would definately put some ice on it and take some tylenol. Go to the hospital for sure!!

Hard to say...did you injure it?
Without additional explanation, and after watching documentaries at 3AM, I'd guess rattlesnake bite.
That's probably not right, though, so you should probably see a doctor.

I would go get an x-ray.
did you smash it on something for you to think it's broken?
if not you could have been bitten by something and having a reaction...
regardless...you should go to the hospital

Only a proper x-ray or other medical imaging can really tell you. See your doc today.
