Power supply
power cord

any of these could prevent a computer from turning on

All of the above. I'd check to see that the outlet itself has power and you're properly plugged in. Assuming you've done that, you have three potential issues. First, does your computer have a power switch on the back, next to the power plug-in? You could have switched it off accidentally. If so, you'll get no power even plugged in. Second, you may have a switch problem. Unplug your computer, then, while holding in the "on" button, plug it in. If it's a switch, this trick will bypass, and allow it to power on. Third, if none of this works, you've blown the power supply. Buy a new one.

Could be powersupply, try it in another plug? the socket it's in could be bad too. Call the manufacturer of you pc and get them to repair it if it's under warentee. Else go to a computer repair store to replace the PSU..... They are generally not expensive.

Can you plug it into another outlet away from that one you are currently plugged into. Do you have it on a surger? If not get one. If so and the surger is on then it is your computer. CCould be anything.
