I LOVE scary movies. But lately it seems like all the horror movies that come out aren't all that scary. They have a few parts that make you jump, but I like the scary movies that make me scream, and almost have nightmares. What is the scariest movie you've seen or does anyone know of any really good scary movies that I will actually be scared while watching? Thanks!

Someone else said The Excorsism of Emily Rose, and I agree with them. That movie more than any other horror movie effected me the longest even after it was over. And I've seen A LOT of scary movies. Some other great ones are Lost Souls and The Changelling. I HIGHLY recommend The Changelling. It's old, but it is the most genuine ghost story. (In my humble opinion) You'll love it! And it will stay with you forever! (If you haven't already seen it.)

Most scary movies are more cheesy than scary. But I really dug the SAW flicks! I thought the first 2 were pretty freaky. I can't wait to see the 3rd one this month!!

I'm in the same boat you are, I LOVE scary movies but haven't been able to find one lately that is really good. Have you seen The Omen, the new one, almost bought it today, wondering if it is any good.

House of Wax. I thought this movie looked stupid, and it had Paris Hilton, who I can't stand. However, a friend of mine rented it and I loved it. It made me cringe at certain parts. Plus, the last scene that has Paris in it totally rocks!

I also like Saw
