Yes it is possible to miss your period and still not be pregnant. Some reasons would be: you have an irregular period, extreme weight gain or loss, stress or hormonal imbalance. I'd talk to your doctor if you are more than 2 weeks late, could be something seriously wrong

Completely. Your period could be late due to hormonal changes, stress, exercise and other factors. Just b/c you're late doesn't mean you're preggy.

Yes, you could have a hormone imbalance and miss it, or sometimes illness, excessive weight loss or excessive exercise (like atheletes training for an event) can cause it. At any rate, if it persists see a doctor.
