You can cause major stress in your family by making bad desisions (drugs, slacking grades, bad friends, partying ect) But never think your parents are gonna get devorced because of you. I guess if you are causing your family problems, you should re-evaluate your actions. No one else can control you, your future or your actions. Only you. I personally have had some issues taking out stress the wrong ways. Nothing serious. Not eating right, I dropped out of some clubs, and I haven't been sleeping, so I think it's a teenager thing. Everyone goes through this crap.
Good luck, and remember, you're not alone.

You do it because you are literally a walking container of raging hormones.
One one hand, you want to stay a kid, with all the carefree fun that entails, yet you long to make your OWN decisions & be treated as an adult!!
Hon, 90% of all young people go through this. Your behavior will even out when your hormones do! Your parents will know this and just keep soldiering on until life settles down (if they are SMART). Anyway, we have ALL been there--some, like me, from BOTH kid & parent side.
I turned out fine, and you will too.

The answer is discipline my young one. Discipline on your part to do what you need to do and of what is expected of you.
As for your parents fighting, it's never your fault. They are in disagreement as to what to do with you and/or about dealing with you.
Bad decisions can be an influential factor from others around you, such as friends. You are not letting them down as much as they feel they are not doing a good job.
I always tell my son who is 12, "my job is to take care of you and help you grow up. If you are not making the right decisions then I'm not doing my job."

Well, I like the fact that you indicate that you have wonderful parents. Tell them that when ever you do something bad just tell them, it was a mistake and you know that you can change bad habits and that you can make better decisions in the future. That's all. All of the other answers should also be taken and considered.

How are you letting them down? Is it grades? Do you hang with a bad crowd? Tell your parents that you would like to stop letting them down and ask them for their advice. Also tell them that you are not perfect and if you make a mistake, it hurts you the hear them fighting.

If you have a good life and you love your parents and you do respect them too or else you wouldn't feel bad. If you have all of that . you are so very lucky ... you need reality check about your self. you need to remember that you are loved very much . Each time you know you will be letting your parents down, Stop...Think....They are why you have a good life .
