What parent is asked to 'approve' of their child having a struggle with homework, a struggle with depression, or any other struggle?
She may not like it, but it is what it is.

tell her now esp if you are young so you can start to do somthing about it now if you wate tll you are older it will probly be harder to transtion i know it is for me i should have said somthing a long time ago my dad has noting to do with me now but that is ok he is crazy any way. and my mom cried for a long time but she got over it now thing are beter try it you only get one life to live be happy dont wory about what other people think you are you and you need to be happy with you hang in there it will be worth it at the end of your change

well wait until you move out on your own then have it. if your mom loves you then she will always stand by your side whether she agrees or disagrees with your decision

my mom cried for weeks and my dad kicked me out of the house . you might not want to tell anybody , but its your choice.
