i feel bad because i keep letting my parents down which in turn makes them fight and i hate seeing them sad because tyhey do nothing to deserve that and i dont know what to do about it. I also keep making bad decisions and i dont know why. it kills me because i have a goiod life im in hockey and i have wonderful parents who all do is love me and i keep letting them down.. HOWE DO I STOP?

Troy,
It sounds like you are a really good kid. Try talking to your folks about how you feel. Tell them you feel like you are letting them down and get their opinions. You may find they are not as upset with you as you think they are.
Parents love their children very much and even when we are disappointed in them, we still love them.
You make mistakes because you are learning. That's part of life. Keep doing all you can to no make mistakes and when you do, just count it as a learning experience.

Think about how the action you are about to take will affect your parents. If you truly care, then you will be able to stop making bad decisions. Let them know that you love them and you don't want to hurt them and you are trying to change because you care. It will touch them. It will make them seem even more important to you if you ask for their help in your quest. Good luck. you are NOT the cause of yout parents fighting. parents fights because they are working out their issues. you sound like a kid whose parents are going through a really tough time. but it's nto your fault and its not about you being in hockey. it's about them and how they get along with each other. and that has nothing to do with you. don't stress yourself with the problems your parents are going through. let them be the parents. just do your stuff at school and the hockey take care of your chores and make it easy for them to focus on the adult issues and let them know you support them. as for the bad descisions you need to stop and think through each descision and ehat long term consequeces it will have. think aobu thow it will impact you and what you cna learn and whether it really is a good or bad descision. good luck!

I have a son, who made good decisions and two who didn't. You have to tell yourself, no matter what, you will do the right thing. When you have to make a decision, think about if its the right thing or wrong. Also do not always do what your friends are doing. If your friends do wrong things then find some other friends. Do not drink or do drugs because they are doing it. My oldest son once said to me if I noticed that he keeps changing his friend. He said, if his friends do the wrong thing then he leaves them.
Also its very important to come home at a descent hour at night, a lot of bad things happen late at night.

Troy, your parents love you very much. All parents have arguments now and then---stop blaming yourself. Sit down at a family meeting and talk to your mom and dad. I think together you can resolve what's going on. Good Luck, you sound like a great kid.

You are who you are you really can't change that my only advice is to try to think about what you do before you do it. I know this sounds hard but I used to be a "mean" person and one huge mistake changed me forever don't let that happen to you follow the saying think before you talk except apply it to your situation

I know the feeling`, just keep doing your best . It might be peer pressure that makes you let them down. prove to them that you are doing your best,and they in return will have faith in you.

u need to grow up & stop making bad decisions
listen to ur parents even if they sound wrong and forget about what you've done before that's done let it go
start looking ahead and see what u can do to make ur parents happy w/out making urself unhappy
