I have been taking calcium supplements for over a year and I find that it doesn't matter what deodorant I use I seem to have a reaction to it and it smells strange almost immediately after applying it. This didn't happen before I took the calcium supplement.

Calcium should not do this it is found in fish bones as in eating sardines without the suppliments. It may be your own sense of smell changing does other people notice a difference.periodically you should change a deoderant because your body gets used to it and attacks it.try eating foods that containcalcium and see what happens

Calcium supplements should not change body odour but vitamin B
will. I used deodorant for many years and for no reason at all, it
began to react, cause rash and red spots. I asked a doctor and was
told that my system was rejecting the use of any deodorant. So I
suppose I was smelling a little for about three months, after which
the body smell disappeared. Now I only pass a little after shave and
no longer have a problem. Can you imagine what it was like in the
old days, did Mozart stink after a Piano concerto? I don‘t think so.
It is the pharmaceutical companies that create things that provoke
body changes and you get hooked and they make a fortune. So
take a little advice from an old man, if you can live with the body
smell for a time you will get deodorant smells out of your system
like booze, all alcohol drink manufacturers want everyone to get
hooked. It is the same with deodorant manufacturers. Keep clean
and you will stay clean without any problem. I know it is difficult
but give it a try, it will save you money and you will get your self
confidence back which is the most important part. In the meantime
make some paste with bicarbonate of soda, pass as you would
deodorant, it will take about one week and all odors will be gone.
Continue using this paste normally.

Some calcium supplements are made from fish bones or oyster shells. Avoid those, it may be them. Also they may contain large amounts of lead so its better to find out.
