What'd be good would be a 1 or 2 short word name w/o numbers.

well usually, just have it be a nickname or an inside joke with no numbers. Also, make it so it can be shortened. like My GamerTag is SgtKneecaps, so people call me "knees" or "Sgt" not alot be my actual gamertag, and thats good. the reason why i dont say #s is because its a put off to other online players. if you're trying to work together, the person doesnt want to say

"Hey dude1726...uhhh....9...or.....5...thing" they want to say a nice casual nick name.

It also depends on what you want to portray.

Mr.Smiley, and DarkWolf are really apart as far as what people think about them. Mr.Smiley, or another funny or amusing name lets other characters know that you're funny and easygoing. DarkWolf tends to portray a rather serious character.
