For those of you working stiffs like me who dislike your jobs. I don't need to hear from people that love their jobs (don't rub it in!)

I resent my job because it has contributed to me not pursuing my dreams. I was a talented musician/songwriter, who upon graduating college, decided to take a job to save up some money to record my demo. 14 years later, I am still at the same company. I was never satisfied with how much money I was making and always worked as hard as I could to get that next promotion, or that bonus, or big increase. Along the way, I lost track of what I really wanted to do, so now, although I make a lot of money, it probably will not happen for me. I will just have to hope that I can pass on my talent to my offspring, and support them in pursuing their dreams while they are still young.

I hate the "waiting period". I am just a temp and I only work when there is work. Sometimes when I want that certain work to do in a company, it either ends quicker then what the staffing agency told me that it would end 1 day when they wanted 3 or I get "pulled" out from the assignment because the client thought I was a mismatch to the position. Then they put be back on the available list and try to find something else. I hope something comes in soon that is long term. Tedious.
