i want to get a psp for myself cuz i can watch movies, play games, down load music and surf the web...now my real question is i knw u need to have a wi fi or wateva u call it to go on the net. is the wi fi only for games to play with other ppl around the world or can u actually surf the internet with it.

Wifi is basically a wirless internet connection.
Yes you can surf the web if you have a wifi connection
so far the psp web browser can support JAVAscript, and Flash (games ect) so that means all the websites should work on the psp
by the way, WI-FI stands for Wirless-Fidelity
