The song is called "What Ever Happened" by the Strokes, out of their second album "Room on Fire" (2003). The trivial part is that the song is all about not wanting the spotlight and not being a role model to anyone, which poses some similarity to the plot for "Marie Antionette". Also, Sophia's brother, Roman Coppola, directed the first two videos for The Strokes (Last Nite and Hard to Explain, as well as their MTV $2 Bill Concert special) so that's the Strokes connection to Sophia.
