choice of color in our living room anymore? The orange color looks like the Jimmy Dean Sunshine guy barfed on the walls. Is it worth the fight and the repainting?

Do what I did when I wanted the wall paper in my kitchen changed....I tore a big piece out of the middle....ok so you can't do that but you can have your kids write all over it or something equally as destructive. Then HELP the poor girl pick a color. Careful though and don't blame me if it backfires on ya....new color???? I would need new furniture and flooring then....and I have been known to drag the couches out to the front yard and put for sale signs on them:) So if you end up having to completely re-build your house just because you wanted a new color...forget you know me:)

Nope it is not worth fighting over and I can't see you two fighting over anything to start with. You both have to look at the walls, and orange in the living room? I guess it would depend on what shade of orange it is. But just ask her if there is any chance of changing the color in there. Have few colors already picked out to show her and try to pick a color/colors that will at least go with everything in the living room. I sure that you both can agree on a different color/shade for the living that will go with everything in there. Then you don't have to worry about doing what other people say about getting rid of everything and remaking the room or house all over again. That is going a bit over board I would think.Well good luck with the Mrs.Sausage Finger.

Wow, did you purposely choose the working of the question to description to be that way. I looks like your problem is you do not love your wife... click to find out it is a home improvement problem.

As for the answer, just tell her. If it really bugs you that much, go get some color swatches and find something you two agree on. Make it a project for the two of you (aka she picks and you paint... hehehe). If it is not that big of a deal, and you can live with it, pick you battles.

Don't you dare tell her. . . not after she bought that orange microfiber couch and the vintage 70s orange shag rug! What are you, nuts? NEVER disparage a woman's sense of style. Just turn down the lights, warm up the lava lamps and turn up "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane and get yourself into a retro groove to match the orange walls. Don't fight it, man. Make love not war.... Peace.

No need too keep playing along and be nice. If you truely aren't in love with your wife anymore then you should tell her. She'll get over It in time and hey, you never know, she may be having these same feelings toward you but has also just been playing along and being nice!! If you continue in this marriage you will just be hurting yourself and your wife. Tell her.
Good luck

Lock yourself in the bedroom and chill out. or buck up and tell her the color sucks and spend a whole entire weekend picking up color samples and new colors. Good Luck.

LOL You can tell her you don't like it. She may not care though. If that's what she likes she's going to leave it that way. I don't think it's grounds for a fight, it's just your opinion, BUT be ready to paint it another color yourself without her help, if she lets you.

if ur shure that u dont love her anymore then leave her. but if its just the paint selections then yes it totaly worth the fight and repainting.

That is definitely worth the fight! Be prepared for some screeching, hair-pulling, and crying, though! lol
