today, my best friend told my crush i liked him. not a huge deal rite?
she also told me that she hated my all along and was never really my friend.
now i am more sad than mad, but what should i do? get back at her? leave it alone? try to compromise?

Leave it alone!! She will realize the mistake she made and come crawling back to you wanting to be your Friend. Go make new friends and have fun with them. If your crush likes you back and you will have more things on your mind than a ex-friend who stabbed you in the back. It will work out and you forget about her. Move on!

The same thing happened to me in the 2nd grade. My friend had asked me who I liked, and since I didnt understand what a crush was, I just said some guy's name. Then one day, we got into a fight and she got mad and told everyone the name that I told her, and ppl kept on singing the "k-i-s-s-i-n-g" song to me. I got mad, but then I forgot about her eventually. If she's really that mean, then she's not worth it. Even if she apologizes, dont get back together, since if she can do that once, she sure as hell can do it again. And dont bother getting back at her. It's a waste of time. Just forget her and make some new friends.
As for the crush situation, it'll probably be kinda awkward there, huh? If he likes you back, then that's great! You can hang out w/ him. But if he doesnt feel the same way, then just try your best to act normal around him. When/if he tells you no, just fake a smile and say that you understand and then move on. There will be plenty of hot guys! In my case though, my "fake crush" didnt believe the rumors and didnt care. Mb that will be the case w/ urs. Good luck.

Don't bother trying to get back at her. Don't even bother hating her, life is too short. Just move on, find a new best friend who genuinely likes you and try to put the whole negative experience behind you.

Leave it alone. Getting even brings you down to her level. Kids say some pretty mean things sometimes. If the opportunity presents, ask her why she would say such a thing.

I would just leave it alone....there is alot of people in this world like that believe me...are you in high school?...because if you are welcome to the world of peole saying they were your friend but when they were just using you....Listen to me...I have been in alot of situations like that....The only friend you really have and can trust NO matter what is your mom....Others who you think are your friends are not they will go back and be like OMG guess what blah blah blah said!...They go back to each other and tell...not saying everybody is like that but gosh...I don't know what the world is coming to I mean...People are so cruel...But the whole crush thing...it is good that she told him that I mean he would find out anyway believe me!...I have had a crush like that before and one of my friends told him and he was like yeah I already know...I like her too!.. It should all wok out...just leave that one girl alone she will relize that she was really your friend...because when someone is like that after they tell you they are not you friend they are like yes I was and I know it why did I tell her that!...They will regret it don't worry.....them being mean to you like that will haunt them in the future....trust me!...but I am serious....lol

what a ********* i think she is a backstabber .explain to your crush what she did also tell your mom, she will be preety pis.sed at her. and call her mom and tell her what her daughter did.just dont spread rumors at school because two wrongs dont make a right
