Are you sure it is "Cardio malaysia"? . I think it is Chondromalacia patellae. "Chondro" means Cartilage and "malacia" means like butter.
Chondromalacia literally means "softening of the cartilage", and Patellae means "the knee-cap". So Chondromalacia patellae means "softening of the articular cartilage of the knee-cap." The articular cartilage is the cartilage lining under the knee-cap that articulates with the knee joint. Under normal circumstances, it is smooth and shiny, so that it glides smoothly along the articular groove of the femur as the knee bends. When it "softens", it may break down, causing irregularities along the undersurface of the patella

Chrondomalacia Patella.
I had this when I was younger, and more active.
It's a grinding of cartilege in the knee joint as the bones grow. It can rub away and become quite painful, until the topside of the tibia bone (shin) grows quite a sharp edge.
Ice and rest are pretty much the only things you can do about it, and DO do that... I ignored advice and now have arthritis in my right knee as the cartilege just kept wearing away.

Chondromalacia patellae is a condition affecting the bones in the knee that is quite common in adolescent girls. It can cause pain on exerting the joint (eg running). Unfortunately there is no magic cure, but it does resolve itself over time. For the meanwhile, you need to ask her doctor for advice - usually it will be to stay away from exercise which exerts the knee joints until the condition resolves, and to use simple painkillers when it hurts.
Hope that's useful. Good luck.

It is called 'chondromalacia'. it is a grinding away of the under side of the knee cap & is related to arthritis. She should not do squats, kneel on hard surfaces & avoid stairs. I have had it for many years. Have managed quite well following that advice.

consult a specialist. doctor for the treatment/ minor surgery. DO NOT simply listen to any treatment methods and give your daughter any drugs which are not presribed by the specialist doctor.
