Weh I first turn opn my Gameboy, if I don't put in a game, it comes up with a white background and red text saying Gameboy. I have seen on adverts that it can come up with a blue background and rinbow text. how do I change it so tht it does this?

I would guess that the colours used are a code to show some hardware or BIOS revision - there is a similar setup with the DS that changes the screen colour depending on what version you have, and that the screenshots in adverts are a simulated picture in any case.

Its originally supposed to do the blue screen and rainbow text
either your's is broken or its a weird defect

put a game in or theyres somethin about pressin butons and getin diff clolours
