5 weeks, 4 days is very early to have an ultrasound. Most likely you will see only the gestational sac and the yolk sac, though you may be able to see the fetal pole (which will become the heart) as well. It is doubtful that you will be able to see a heartbeat so early.

It' not called a fetus at 5 weeks, but yes you can see the baby that early. The hearbeat is beating too so you would see/hear that too.

Yes you could see the fetus at this stage. Sometimes it would require trans vaginal ultrasound instead of the regular probe.

yes, but by ultrasound it looks more like a bean, then a baby. Around 12 weeks, I had an ultrasound, because we werent getting a heartbeat, and it did look like a baby,

Yes they will do a vaginal ultrasound it wont look like a baby though just maybe a peanut, a small one.
