When a man wants to cook for me...
it means he's willing to learn how to cook...
or he wants to show off knowing how to cook...
and it means he has a better chance of getting dessert.

When I offer to cook for a woman, it's because I want to scare her away or burn something of hers. I'm a very bad cook, but it is useful in seeking revenge or ending a relationship.
It's a good thing opposites attract too because it means I will probably marry a very, very, very good cook...

I think it means he wants something in return from me. And I usually don't do that unless I'm really really hungry and too tired to cook. And it was just that once. Alright, maybe twice.

I would say that he thinks your cooking sucks and he is hungry, so he is going to make some food for both of you so you don't starve. Or he's trying to be nice.
