Who are you to judge if a person is a real goth or not. And just because she can't sing live doesn't mean that she is not a talented artist. Amy Lee can dress any way she wants and look however she wants because people don't buy the cds and see her in concert and watch her videos to see what she is wearing and if she is a real goth or not, the do all that to hear the music, which is hauntingly beautiful and the guitar work is amazing. If you don't like the band why do you even bother to post something on here and waste your time. Move on.

Amy Lee has a wonderful voice but I have to go with Sharon (Within Temptation) and Tarja (formly Nightwish). Their voices are amazing. They have more of a range and a power in their voice that Amy doesn't seem to have.

I like her. Im not really into goth, but her records sound good. I think many artist sound horrible on stage though. She has a powerful voice but I think she has to strain too much to get it there and that is her problem on stage.

You could teach Amy Lee to sing that is the funniest thing I have ever heard she probably has more talent in her little pinky then you do in your whole body!!!!!

You realise you're going to get 12 year olds, who think they're gothic/punk/hardcore/sxe/whatever-other-stupid-moniker-you-want to-give-yourself defending her, as she's "supr hrdcore!!!!!11".
I think it's probably an act, to a certain extent. I've also heard she is awful live.
The wonders of technology, I guess.

she's my favorite artist, has a very beautiful voice, on stage that may sometimes suck because she uses very high tones in her songs, a very hard thing to achieve throughout all the concert, most of the singers don't even risk it, and prefer to transpose the chords to the most appropriate tones for their voices. Or they don't even attempt singing songs that could exhaust their vocal cords..so she's gorgeous

Goth people are soooooo stuck-up!
They are afraid of their REAL self, so they try to cover themselves up with a bunch of black and white make up, and wear black clothes.
I GUARANTEE if any goth actually saw what was going on in HELL, they would only wear white clothes for the rest of their lives!
BEING A GOTH IS WRONG!
