My husbands ex wife to whom he was paying rearities to just passed away. Who gets the child support now or does it stop?

I would imagine if the issue was pushed it would go to the children. But I would assume that you are taking custody of the children now so it shouldn't be an issue unless....

IF the ex was getting SRS assistance they could still persue the rearities to pay back what they provided for.

If he was in arrears it was only to her. In some states (like Florida) you can owe it to the state. But hubby should get custody now if they are still minors. More then likely the payments will stop.

You,and he can file for custody,and get the kids and stop the support.

The arreares still go to the children!!!

Hell no it shouldn't stop. Those kids suffered when he wasn't paying.
