Is Peyton Manning the best current quarterback? I know he doesn't have a super bowl ring, but it takes a team to win a super bowl. Not just the quarterback. If Peyton has anything at all to do with the Colts not having a super bowl ring I would say it is the lack of maturity. The guy has the talent for sure! Whether or not he uses it properly in every game is another thing.

He is definitely the best QB of this generation and hopefully when he retires, he is the greatest QB ever. The people that dis him saying that he"chokes" in the playoffs, it's a team playing not just one guy. Besides, the Colts wouldn't win a game without Peyton.

Manning has the arm, the perspection to read the defense, and quick reaction time, yet unlike his contemporary Ben Rothlesburger, no ring. On talent alone, Manning has the edge over every QB in the league, but that ring will define his career if he gets one or not.

My vote would go to Tom Brady. Three Super Bowl championships in four years to zero for Peyton Manning. There is no doubting Manning's ability but I would take Brady.

I mostly agree... Peyton is the Johnny Unitas of our generation now make him a Joe Natham by winning the Super Bowl however he will always remain humble like Johnny Unitas....

Nah. Until he and the Colts can get over that hump and get to the Superbowl, nope. He is one of the greatest though - definitely a Hall of Famer. Hopefully the Colts can get over that hump. Won't read too much into their undefeated streak until they lose or get to the Superbowl and win.

the guy has talent...but he also has a tendancy to choke in the big games. three better QB's come to mind carson palmer, tom brady, and even thou he dosen't play any more joe montana lets not forget that big ben beat him last year in the play offs...hey that was a big game wasn't it..proves my point
