I've asked this before and most answers were in denile that they even have this access. Both parties allow lobbyists to actually WRITE legislation for them now.
We need to put a stop to this. It is adding to the parties' actions that support the money trail at the expense of the US tax payer.

I think it needs to be somewhat regulated, so that the more powerful special interest groups or politcal action groups don't monopolize the time of government officials.

No-we need election reform and once candidates realize they have to get their money from the voters, maybe they'll actually start passing laws that we want.
