So vague... examples of your own life would be helpful, otherwise you're just asking life's biggest questions into the air. I'd say it's love when it's completely impractical and you just feel that weird nice feeling, you know? If you don't know, you're either insecure or it's not love.

i think you are asking a very difficult question because love can be tied into security. a lot of people don't want to be alone though so i think they stay in a bad relationship because they feel secure and an emotional dependence. that is not love but love can be a huge part still. just because you feel a sense of security doesn't mean your in love with the person and in some cases it can be both. i think it depends upon circumstances.

do u think about him all the time? do you crave to be with him all the time? do u see yourself growing old w/ him? if yes to any of them then u prob in love. if you are w/ him b3cause u don't want to be alone, then security.
