well im a guy, and this is my 1st homecoming, now i have black dress shoes and black slacks, but im not sure what to wear on the top, im not going with a date, i do have this button up shirt and a tie, but its sleeve less, is it ok to wear a button down shirt thats sleeve less with a tie? or should i can a black or white dress shirt with long sleeves?

You should probably wear the button up shirt with the sleeves. & you don't have to wear a tie, but it's up to you.

I would wear a sport coat, long sleeve shirt, slacks, loafers. That will be a classic cool guy look without appearing to try too hard.

Whoa hold up there buddy!! I'm new to homecoming too (which happens to be tonight... yay Sabino!!!) and all the guys are wearing what they wore to scool...jeans and a shirt, as am I. I am waering a school shirt too so ya slacks would probably be a bad thing for homecoming...unless it is formal!

Well, you should wear a long sleve button up shirt (color not white)... and not to bright .... with black dress shoes and a tie to match! Have fun.. be your self and stay safe

fist of all it is not a rock show dont wear any sleeve less shirts dress like you are going to church dont wear white unless it is a white suite try to wear somthing like a blue or red or orange or purple or pink suite to make u stand out so people would notice u and make them wonder and come talk to u.
