park, picnic, museum, sometimes we even pack a lunch and go to the airport (kiddies like watchign the planes take off) , um sports, movies, arts/crafts, making a big dinner together, board games

I'm going to assume that you have kids.
Take a walk
go to the library
go to the park
play a game
I don't know where you live but we like to take drives and look at the changing colors of the leaves on the trees.
paint or color a picture
make up a dance or a story and act it out
As you can tell I'm used to doing things that don't require alot of money.

Go to a museum that is free, take a walk around the city a look at interesting landmarks, go to the park (picnic if you want). There are loads of things...just be creative and look up attractions in your area that are free.

Go Hiking, ride bicycles (if you already have bicycles), hang out at the park, yard work (you can make yard work fun), Visit grandma and grandpa, go to the library and get some books, have a yard sale

We have 5 children between us and when we have them all we pop popcorn and watch movies, or we go to the park. State parks are good because they have playgrounds and hiking trails and sometimes beaches too :)

when my children were younger we would have family game night. We would take turns picking a board game to play and have snacks. Hope this helps.

watch a movie...have a picnic...unless you count buying food as costing money. then you could. play a board game or something..
