I wouldn't do that simply because it makes your skin greasy

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.
In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

Vaseline is the base of most creams, and truly a good moisturiser, should be used subtly and very little quantity. Excess use could cause hirstutism! And oily patches, hence pimples,

I think that it would make your face really bad! It will prevent your pores from "breathing"! It'll clog up your pores and cause breakouts...I would imagine! Just use a regular moisturizer. I love Nivea!

Vaseline will seal your skin pores preventing them from breathing. Your pimples will grow like mushrooms in manure.

I use Vaseline on my mouth for shine and on my eyebrows so they don't look so unruly. (One side tends not to cooperate.)
If you were to use Vaseline on your face, I would use it VERY sparingly. My dermatologist told me that it would clog pores.

It's better on your body. Use something lighter for your face like Lubriderm.
