My BF has one of his albums and I have to say the bloke obviously likes to blow his own trumpet! Don't know much about him other than that though . . . he seems to like to give the impression that he's lived a really tough life and is as hard as anything. Never sure whether to beleive rappers who say that.

he came from pretty much nothing, and worked his way up, and he seems like at the end of the day he's a pretty normal guy in most aspects. so, i have to respect him for that. and he stuck to his guns and kept plugging away until he made it big.
as far as being a badass, or having talent.... that i'm not so sure of. can he entertain a crowd, sure. does that make him talented, no. and as far as being badass.... well, i dont see that at all. he tends to just recycle phrases a lot in his songs and talk about how tough he is and how cool it is to be him. i saw him on tour with aerosmith, and i really wasnt impressed.
he seems like an out of shape wuss with a gut. in a fight, i'm pretty sure he'd get his @s$ handed to him.
