With so many competition out there, it is kind of hard for you to make it. EBay is not the company as it use to be, there are TOO many professional retail sellers on eBay, there is not much room for the self-starters. Plus, eBay's fee for selling is a bit much in comparison to what it use to charge.

I think you will make on eBay if you are good at what you do, fashion and durable wise. You will need to differentiate your product so that people will consider buying your product rather then from other retail stores. Maybe allow your customers to customize your product, and you will custome design your item to their specified need. It will be a perfect Christmas gift, that home touch.

Run a search for completed hand knit items on ebay to see if these items sell and what price they sold at & then you can decide if it seems worthwhile.

If it is cool. I knit and have sold a couple things I've made on ebay. You have to be good at marketing yourself.
