How can I get a Playstation 3 when it comes out?

How can I get a playstation 3 on it's release date (Nov. 17) without having to stay in line infront of Best Buy all night? I tried to pre-order it but eb games and gamestop are both sold out. Is there any stores that will be taking pre-orders soon, so that I could get it the day it comes out guaranteed?

I want to get it for retail price, not any higer.

When the PS3 releases on the 17th of November, it will be first come first serve. As to pre-orders most stores WILL NOT pre-order because of the limited number that will be available on the release date. Be warned though, there WILL be two versions of the PS3 available on the market on the release date, one version is 500 dollars and does not have certain features, what they are I cannot recall at the moment, but when I find the article I will post it, the other version is the 600 dollar version and that one is the totally loaded feature.
If I were you, I would be better off sitting back for a few months and wait for the rush to die off a bit, then they will be available in larger numbers, (sources say around mid-January to Febuary) and who knows, Sony may even lower the price, (I doubt it, but who knows) After all remember this, even though the game is 600 dollars at the start, that does not include the games that go with the PS3, so one may spend up to 700 dollars or more just to get started.
