My twelve year old (soon to be thirteen) wants to wear heels now. And my clothes and makeup. What should be my limit? Thanks.

As long as she keeps her clothing moderate and the heels dont make her uncomforatable then you should be fine. I would say no more than an inch or maybe 1.5 inches depending on her height. As far as the makeup is concerned, teach her how to put it on to where it looks natural because you dont want people making fun of her.

ok so 13 i say she can wear heels but kitten heels....and as far as make-up i think mascara and lipgloss are the limits.......clothing should be watched........you dont want her to go out looking like an 18 year old with men druling all over her both you and i know and the ppl that will read this know that that is NOT a good thing.....let her have some fun but pull her back once in a while and let her know your limits......and watch what they wear under there clothes.......somtimes they come home not wearing the same thing they walked out the door in...

You can allow her to wear very limited makeup, but no girl that age needs to wear heels or any revealing clothing. Not only does that kind of dress attract the worst kinds of guys her age, she definitely doesn't want dirty old men after her. Teach her to have respect for herself and her body. She doesn't need to dress like a hoochie mama to fit in or get respect. She can get much further and life and be more respected if she doesn't worry about fitting into the crowd and focuses on her school work more than boys. She can grow up to be a smart and successful woman without relying on her body or dressing provocatively to get ahead.

What does a 12 year old need to do with heels? I'm 18 and I've never worn heels. Tell her to forget about it, they're extremely uncomfortable anyways. She can wear a little bit of make up though, but not too much. A little lip gloss and maybe some eye shadow should do it. Jesus, at 12 make up and high heels were the farthest thing on my mind and at 18 it still is.

Don't let her wear your clothes and have her wear only a little bit of makeup. Do not let her grow up too fast! I am almost 18 and I do not wear high heels or makeup.

I think the heels should be no more than 2.5 or 3 inches.Keep her clothing moderate.Make-up um......... only let her wear eyeshadow and lip gloss. and ALWAYS keep in mind NEVER to let her look like a slut ho or chickenhead.that will just get talk started.and she might even be picked on and called those names.

a twelve year old should NOT be wearing heels. or makeup. i didn't start wearing makeup until i was fourteen and i didn't wear heels til i was sixteen. slow down. it doesn't matter how much the "other girls at school" do it, just calm down.

1 or 2 inchers... but do you really want your kid at that age running around in heels and make up? She's so young, a lil' make up is ok, but be on top of it and make sure that the make up stays at home and she doesnt go to school and apply more than she's allowed.
you really dont want her growing up so fast.

light make up kinda more grown up close just enough to make her feel special and 2 and a half heels at the most
