I put some new songs onto my Apple iPod Shuffle and it was working just fine yesterday. And today I turned it on and I pressed play and tha light turned green like always then I jumped to red.

if you mean its jumping red to green on and off. It means your shuffle has an error. Just plug it back in and let iTunes load. It'll fix the problem. If you mean the green light just turn on and it turned to red. It means your shuffle has low battery. You need to charge it for at least an hour or two hours. did you get the new 80 dollar shuffle that looks like a clip?
