Should girls with red hair wear pink or red colored clothes?

I have heard from two girls that have red hair that pink and red are a no,no, for them because of their red hair. I myself can't understand their reasoning. I've seen pictures of models in catalogs wearing these colors.

Hahahaa.(: I wouldn't wear black close to your face: choose tops and accessories in natural, earth tones such as dark and olive greens, beiges, browns, golds, camel and even orange reds. What do YOU want? If you feel good in the color wear it. The reason these girls have said this is many people think that red against red and red and pink clash. Opinions, opinions! Remember red against red is a monocromatic color (one shade against the same shade). Play it up. If you're hair is dark red, go medium to light red. If it's dark, go marroon or brick red. With the pink, same deal.

I think that red head should wear pink. I think that it looks good on them. With red I think that they should only wear this color when they wear their hair up. This way it doesn't look like to much red or wear a different shade of red.

For redheads, I think their skin color makes a difference in this question. You can get away with pinks and reds if you have pinkish tones in your skin. Redheads with a warmer/yellowish skin tone should probably steer clear of the pinks altogether, and red might be tough to pull off.

My best friend is a red head and i bought her a pink shirt for a b-day and it looks awesome on her. Usually red hairs are fair complected and so red and pink looks nice on red heads.
