When the Reps reclaimed Congress- the ensuing panic of the Clinton admin transformed your party into a ‘win at all costs’ corrupt facist assemblage. By the end of 1998-your party was no longer recognizable. Lieberman and Moynihan spoke words of outrage during Clinton’s impeachment but in the end, they defended party over principle. Everyone knows it. History will show it. They let one man's behavior compromise the integrity of your party. We were told that lying under oath didn't "rise to the level of an impeachable offense." Where were the questions, "Have you no shame, sir?" Or "Ask not what your country can do for you..” or "Judged not by the color of skin but by the content of character. ..." These were words that once inspired the Democratic party. Why do you cowardly accept their Socialist tactics? Real Democrats who stand by and watch are as guilty as the actual leaders of this corruption. Lieberman seems to have come to his senses --Are there no other moderates left?

The whole left-right paradigm no longer applies. Real Democrats are as rare as real Republicans (you know the ones that believed in small government). Problem being both parties sold out long ago to corporate America to get more money to win more elections so they could make even more money.

I am a real Dem. I am even a Moderate Dem. And you are a right-wing zealot with no concept of what a Dem really is. The real crime of the Clinton impeachment is not that Clinton lied under oath. It is that the Republicans, having failed to find any evidence against him in the Whitewater deal, continued to investigate him to the tune of 50 million taxpayer dollars.
I am a moderate. I know that Clinton perjured himself. I also know that the GOP overstepped their authority in the scope of the investigation against him. Had THEY no shame? I assure you, if I had 50 million dollars to devote to the task, I could certainly find something of similar or worse aspect in the background of Mr. Bush, or probably anyone in the government, Democrat or Republican.
Now, let me ask you, where are the REAL Republicans? The ones who believe in small government, fiscal responsibility, defending the Constitution, and maintaining a leadership position in world politics? It seems to me that they all disappeared, too, to be replaced by overspending, warmongering, rights-shredding, fear-spreading lockstep little Bushes. (Re-shrub-licans)
