We share a birthday. My best friend was born on Halloween, her mother was born on Independence Day (US), and my mother's birthday falls on Labor Day sometimes.

Someone I went to school with was born on Christmas, another friend was born two days before. They both HATED it. Because people would just combine both gifts into one, so the cards said things like "Happy birthday and Merry Christmas!"

My niece was just born on Valentine's Day. I hope she doesn't go through the same thing.

Yes, but it is a sad Holiday in some ways, Columbus Day. As a celebration of Spanish immigrants to the United States, it is a wonderful Holiday, but it lead to a disaster for American Indians which is something that also needs to be acknowledged.
God or reality of some kind manner allows many both good and bad things to happen. Go figure?

I have a cousin that was born on Christmas and an aunt on Valentines. We always try to make the days extra special for them so they dont feel slighted.

I know someone who was born on New Year's Eve. He hates it. He can't really celebrate his birthday, 'cause everybody's already celebrating New Years.
