healthy proteins like lean beef and chicken, fish etc. Carbs! Pasta and potatoes! If you are really skinny, drink a slimfast or ensure as a beverage with a meal to add additional calories. Don't try to eat alot of fats or sugars, you will just gain fat. try strength training to build muscle, that will not only add weight but look great.

PS, 5'2 and 101 is a bmi of 18.5, borderline for being underweight, but not dangerously so. If you have a fast metabolism you may not gain weight easily, but when you are 40 you will be thankful!!

i know how you feel I'm 15 years old 5'2" and only 88 lbs. One thing that my doctor recommended to me was a drink called Boost plus. It 's a high calorie drink with lots of vitamins and protein to help you gain weight with the proper diet. It comes in all different flavors and tastes pretty good. I was also told to drink it during every meal and also before going to bed because your metabolism would be slowing down and your body is not active. hope that i could be a help!
good luck

Well, You can get some Protein Shakes, those should help. If not then contact your doctor.
But this may ware off soon so don't think you can eat a whole bunch of greasy junk foods. Even if you are skinny you still shouldn't eat bad foods for you because it's just as if you were fat, it's in your inside, but you aren't getting fat.

You may have a naturally high metabolism. While it may not last all of your life, enjoy it while you can.

Lean protein (builds muscles), fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and even some natural fats are good for you.

Stay away from prepared foods, white flour, processed sugars, and trans fat.
