is a birth certificate sufficient. Does any non-violent criminal convictions abstain me from entering the United States?

No you don't. Not yet anyway-- that is coming up soon though so if your going right away your o.k. Just be sure you have picture I.D. and like a birth certificate or something. Where are you going through at ? Sumez or Linden or where--you shouldn't have too much trouble though. I think the littler crossings are tougher than the big ones--it's like they kind of expect a goof ball to come through a littler crossing so I'd stay with the bigger ones--although if there is nothing wrong with you anyone is fine I guess.

If you are flying it should be no problem either, but the drive is great too! Stop and see Mt. St. Helens.

Your husband is incorrect. No passport is needed persons voters to shuttle in the U. S.. you want a authorities-issued photo identity to board an plane, and it will be a passport in case you want, yet only a motive force's license will do for significant different and children air shuttle.

Technically all you should need is your birth certificate and a govt issued ID. That's what you use to get a passport.

You might want to check with customs/etc, but I'm pretty sure the us is watching all borders more closely lately and a visa is now required.
