I'm kinda excited about this trade! The Colts have been suffering lots of injuries in the secondary and on the defensive line. Its almost unreal that they are 5 - 0 with all of the starting defensive players that are out with injuries. I think after adding McFarland to the roster, the Colts have a decent shot at going all the way if they can stay healthy.

He is going to have an instant impact on their run stopping. Having said that, don't expect them to be great against the run all of a sudden, one player can not stop the run by himself (unless of course that player's name is Jamal Williams, but thats beside the point), the Colts have been terrible against the run so far, the addition of McFarland is a step in the right direction.

Booger's stats on the season...8 tackles, thats it. The last few years he has been known league-wide as an underachiever.

However, reuniting with Dungy may give him some kind of spark and I think you will see better play from him.

I don't see him being the missing link to a Super Bowl team though.

I'll be cheering for Booger and hoping he does well and helps out the Colts. I've always liked him as a player and will miss seeing him at the Bucs games.....but I'm happy he's reunited with his former coach....whom I love too!

Ask Clinton Portis on Monday; that'll be the answer.

Actually, I think he'll be a very important addition, but the DE's still need to refrain from overpersuing the outside lane to the QB which opens up holes no linebacker can plug.

You are pining your hopes on a player whose nickname is Booger. Now I understand why the Colts die in the playoffs each year.

Colts needed SOMEONE, now we'll see how they can stop a run. Sanders is supposed to be on the mend and may return, which will help a bunch.

I hope he helps a lot because they need some major help on defense.
