Jupiter is made up of gases and liquids,although it may have a small ,solid core. Jupiter measures almost 143,000 kms across. It has more mass than all the others planets together. Jupiter has at least sixteen moons. One of them, Ganymede, is bigger than Mercury. Jupiter has a ring, but it is too dark to be seen from the earth. The Great Red spot is on the clouds which cover jupiter. Scientist think it is caused by a storm, which has been raging for hundreds of years.

It has the most moons. It also has rings. Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. It is made up mainly of hydrogen and helium. It has a storm that is called the Giant Red Spot that has existed for hundreds of years.

jupiter is named after the king of the gods (jove, but in greek it was zeus) who was the ruler of olympus, and was the son of cronus for which saturn is named after.
