can some one tell me whats the difference between the most fertile day and when Im ovulating???which day is the better day to try and get preg most fertile or when im ovulating???

In my experience, it is best to have the sperm waiting for the egg to drop so it is best to try the day before you ovulate.
Since timing is critical, it is easier to try 3 days before, then the day before. That way, you are building up a good supply of candidates waiting for the egg since sperm can live from 3 to 5 days in the uterus.

Your most fertile day is your ovulation day. It should be about 14 days after the first day of your period.
This is how it is done. Say you have a four day period(day1-4), then you have two dry day(day5-6), then your fertile time (days 7-20), day 20 being your most fertile day(day of ovulation), then for the last eight days are your infertile days.
When trying to conceive it is best to be intimate the three days before, on the day of ovulation, and the three days after so that if it is off by a day or so you are still catching it.

Sperm can live for quite a while, and it takes them a long time to make it to the egg. Therefore, if you have sex within a couple of day before or after ovulation, you can still get pregnant. There is a great website I found with a fertility calendar...it tells you exactly what days are best to try and even what days are best to try for a boy or girl.. Babyhopes.com

the most fertile day IS when you are ovulating. not sure what you are talking about?

Okay...get a book called...TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY by Toni Weschler ($25 @ your lcoal bookstore) all the question's you are asking..they will answer! I swear by this book! You start by charting you BBT, your C.M.
Your most FERTILE DAY is your WETTEST DAY of your CYCLE! Have sex that day!! Good luck!
