well see my friends are like the goth/emo/freaks cuz the music we like and we are the only ppl that like it is that bad? and what is the best kind of music out there?

the best kind of music depends on your taste. personally i believe that every genre has good music. its all about melody, vocals, depth, and meaning.

You have to decide what the best music is for you. The best way to do it is to have someone burn a cd with all different kinds of music on it and figure out what YOU like. Nobody can say what the best music is, because there are so many different types. Just remember, your friends may like a kind of music that you don't particularly care for, but that's okay, find the music that you enjoy to listen to, whether it is Rock, Rap, RnB, Pop, Classical, World or even Techno. Find one that you can listen to Day in Day out.

For each person this differs a lot. Each persons answer depends on which country he/she lives, what is his education, whith what kind of music was he raised, his musical knowledge, his job, mood, etc. So you ll probably hear many diferrent opinions. As far as i am concerned i believe that except classical, wich is my favourite couse of its high quality, variety, and other facts, undoubtly the music that offered the most on our world is Rock and its subgenres(hard rock, heavy metal, black metal, thrash, speed, neoclassical, death etc) Everyone can admitt that in this big family of Rock you can find uncountable melodies, styles, musical instruments etc. Allways created by musicians who were real, not just some guys rapping, with vision, and love for music, not to make easy money (ofcourse there are excptions)...
So i believe that the best genre is Rock, especially comparet to Hip-Hop, Pop, Jazz, Soul, Reggae, Latin, Electro, Funk and others....

It's a matter of taste. My favorite kind is slow R&B (baby making music). Then there's upbeat R&B, Neo-Soul, some Hip Hop and Gospel. Yes, I like them all.
