Why would a women knowingly get involved with a man in a relationship or married? I thought women were supposed to stick together? If you have ever been cheated on why would you cheat on someone?
I don't get it.

The trill of the chase I can not buy into because even single guys date more than one person which is were the competition comes into play. The commitment thing I don't buy into either because once divorced me go into a mid-life crisis thing and most likely will never commit again, so that is out.
If you have ever been cheated on then why would you ever want to inflict that kind of pain, humiliation of everyone knowing when you only suspect, frustration, unhappyness, depresion, hatred, and feelings of betrayal onto anyone.
Yes, females should stick together other wise it is going to be your best friend that steels your boyfriend.

Most women see it as this man can commit. Were most single men they meet may not be able to. So why waste time on a single guy to see if he will commit, go for the married guy because he can commit. I don't see it that way. My mother's ex best friend tried to steal my dad away from my mom. I asked her why and she said it was the mixture of the commitment thing and she found him attractive. I don't get why either, but that is the biggest reason I have heard from my single friends. The other reason I have heard is the wanting what you can't have BS.

Believe it or not, because dating a married man is considered safe. Plus there's a little bit of an ego. He's married, yet he's choosing to be with me, kind of thing too. It comes from fear of commitment and immaturity. The immaturity shows when they call the wife. They aren't calling because they are concerned about the wife, they call because they lost the competition and want to hurt the relationship, so the man will lose both women.

It's women thinking with their loins/hind-lizard-brain/instinct that go after 'taken' men. In a base, purely primordial way (that has nothing to do with higher intellect or reality) a married man has displayed several desireable traits in a mate; stability, virility, willingness to commit. A woman should know in her higher brain that the man is taken, and is NOT going to be her 'rock', her 'everything', but sometimes they get whisked away to fantasy land with purely wishful/instinctual thinking. And as the above posters have mentioned, there's a certain taboo, a certain violation of the established norms that appeal to depraved aspects of one's being. Finally, the whole 'grass is greener' shebang comes into play.

I just had to jump in here and say that this is total bullcrap. I've always thought the theory about a man being more attractive because he is married or has a gf is total hooey and I don't buy into it. I don't know what kind of women would go after a man SIMPLY because he is married. That's a sick individual if you ask me.

I am struggling with that question as well. My now ex had an affair with a co-worker who met me and our son on several occasions. However, she had an affair with him anyway. Of course, she was only 50% of the problem. I do not understand the appeal of a man who cheats on his wife. My only hope is that one day they will both come to understand the pain their actions caused.

Women are stupid, they don't know how to choose a man so when one is taken they figure he's a good one so they want him too. They may feel special if the man wants to be with them not realizing that they will most likely never leave their wives.

i asked the same question before to guys, because i constantly have issues with my fiancee getting women who wont leave him alone,
The answer i got? was that if your married, those type of women think you are worthy enough to get married and you must be special in some sort of way, and its a challenge for those types of girls to see what you will do and yet have no strings attached.
its horrible and those women make all of us unfortunatly a bad name

People get involved with married people because they don't want a commitment and a no-strings attached deal. They're weak, pathetic and gross for doing so. Simple as that.
