The question is WHY do you want to drop the gas tank in your '94 Concorde. If it is for the purpose of accessing the fuel pump, you don't need to. Simply empty the trunk of ALL contents. Remove the carpetting from the trunk. There will be an access panel held in place by four 10mm nuts. Simply remove the nuts and the panel. The pump is secured to the fuel tank by a "worm and gear" type clamp. Simply disconnect the wiring and undo the 5/16" or 8mm fastener on the clamp, and the pump can be removed. DO NOT SPILL FUEL ON THE INSIDE OF THE TRUNK!!! If you do, it will be VERY difficult to clean up. The main concern is the smell of the gasoline lingering into the interior of the vehicle. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

EMPTY IT AND RELIEVE THE FUEL PRESSURE FROM THE LINES; then loosen the clamps for the filler and vapor hoses, support it with a jack, remove the two nuts that attach the straps, drop it a little ways and disconnect the wiring and fuel lines. Remove it.
