It's okay as long as you don't get so freaked out that your blood pressure goes through the roof :)

Not sure. The baby can be affected by the emotions of the mother. We never was TV much, we are living life, instead of dreaming it. We go places and camp and boat etc.
When my wife was pregnant with our son I would take Headphones and put them on her stomach and play music of all genres on a low volume. I also, would talk to her tummy and tell my son how much we loved him. All I know is he is very intelligent. Heck, by the time he was walking he knew where the Bananas were at the store, every store we went to, and that where he headed was to get his Banana. He was opening things that many Adults have trouble with also.
OK, one last Bragg and then I stop. He was driving my truck and boat at 15 months, true I did the Brakes and Gas, but, he had learned the steering and to keep it between the lines.
I just feel TV is worthless, unless people like paying to see advertisments. Now, we did rent a movie now and then, but, very seldom.

I read somewhere once that a lady who watched the exorist had a miscarriage. Of course how can they prove it was the movie that really caused it. I don't think a scary movie has any affect on your baby.

Watch on!

I don't know if it directly has an effect......I doubt it....
it's more of an old wives tale.....

I heard that if you watch something scary which means usually it's ugly........that you shouldn't look at or watch anything ugly cuz then you're baby will be ugly.....

Funny that you asked that cuz when I was pregnant.....and altho I heard it......I ended up not watching or looking at scary or ugly things......
hahahaha.

It's just superstition.
And I guess I am.....

I heard that if you see something that is gross like a rash or pimples and you start to scratch a particular part of your body, the baby will have that rash on the same body part that you scratched.

I am not sure about scary movies...

Sounds like an old wives tale to me. Kinda like the one that if you get scared during pregnany the baby will have a birthmark of the thing that scared you. I was scared plenty during my pregnancises & never got any birthmarks on them.
