No, he's not gay.
The rumor stemmed from an email that was going around which said that he admitted to being gay during an interview with Essence Magazine in the October issue. But, that interview never happened. Essence Magazine later came out with a statement.
I've actually met him quite a few times doing events with my radio station. And, from a lot of the things I've heard... I seriously doubt he's gay. Theres also a picture of him somewhere on the internet with him getting oral from a woman.

Well some people say that it was just a rumor that he is not gay. Personally, I think it is a small chance that they may be true or it could just be somebody wanting to mess up his image. I heard him on the radio saying he wasnt gay but regardless of his sexuality he still makes wonderful music.
