Michelle ~
Because the Monsters of the Midway are back. The Bears are playing Chicago Style Ball, The City with the Big Shoulders has an even bigger Football team this year. I know Rex didn't look so hot Monday night, but Brian did, Heck, the main thing is it was a win. The Windy City is sitting pretty cool right now! Da Bears!
Thanks Michelle.

Playing great football right now. The offense didn't look good on Monday. But the mark of a good football team is the ability to find a way to win. Chicago did that on Monday night. The defense and special teams picked up the offense when they had an off night. Legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Go Bucs!(hey guys I'm not a bandwagon fan so please give me a break on the Bucs thing!)

Hey Nutsters C... That was a very good joke, remember it hasn't been that long ago that you could have inserted the Bears into that joke. By the way how long has it been since the Bears have been to the Super Bowl? 1985 I believe. The Bucs? in 2002. Who's waited longer? The Bears aren't guaranteed anything in reference to this year's Super Bowl.

Why? Because the Bears hibernate for 20 years and then get off their aS$s and do something. They're about a year late in this latest 20 year cycle but there you go.

What happens to the Bears in the other 19 years? They're pretty lousy. Not if you listen to the fans, of course; one of my friends talks about EVERY Bear season as if it were the Super Bowl year in 1984/5. Unfortunately, the reality is that the Bears are 95% lousy and, like I said, wake up every 20 years to tease the fans.

The Bears are good this year. I hate them more than ever, but until the Fridge runs one in on the Packers again, they will never equal the Da Bears.

Super Bowl: Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears. Winner: Colts! Bears are good but, the colts have an offense that is unlike any other the bears have faced.

After Monday night, I can say the Bears are not that good of a team.

Kid changes court ruling.
Tampa, Fl (AP) - A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Tampa courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

The bears are overratted. They almost lost to an inferior cards team. The NFC is sad.
